    The Orange Tree has a really good selection of beers and cocktails, catering to all tastes including those of the discerning ale drinker. While this is definitely more of a bar/club than a pub, it isn't so upmarket that you can't show up in jeans and a t-shirt without feeling awkward. The music is generally pretty middle of the road, I remember them playing tunes from the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack when I first visited. It isn't uncommon to see people dancing in here, although there is limited floorspace to do so. The bouncers were really friendly, as were the bar staff, who have a pretty decent knowledge of the stuff they're pouring and seemed to be having a good time mixing up cocktails. There's also a pretty nice outdoors area for the smokers in your group. The Orange Tree is a great place to go when you fancy something a bit different to the pub, but don't want to have to deal with the hustle and bustle of a packed night club.
